Manufactured in a lowpressure casting process, the company from Bad Dürkheim has succeeded in transferring the weight characteristics of the more expensive magnesium wheels to aluminum wheels, although the specific weight of magnesium is significantly lower than that of aluminum.

Since 2006, the light and cost-effective ATS aluminum Formula 3 wheels have been mandatory by the regulations of the Formula 3 Euro Series and the ATS Formula 3 Cup. In international Formula 3 racing, numerous teams are also achieving good results with ATS Formula 3 wheels.

Back in 1977, ATS already caught attention with its own team in Formula 1 and became a global player virtually overnight.
